The convergence depends a lot on the time step you are using in Runoff, the quickness of the rainfall hyetograph and the amount of infiltration plus evaporation loss from the stored water on the subcatchment or watershed. If you are having convergence problems then the easiest and quickest method of solution is to lower your WET time step. BTW, the SWMM 4 overlnd.for code for the iterations is a combination of Newton-Raphson and Richardson extrapolation.
