The time step used during the simulation at any one time is the minimum of the link and node time steps. As the example shown below shows usually the link time step (based on the CFL) condition is more restrictive than the node time step. In the ima…

Question re groundwater flow editor .... the equation reduces to A1(Hgw - Hsw) when using the default values. Does this mean when the surface water is above the groudnwater level transmission losses are being simulated (ie outflow from the creek to the aquifer)? The maths would suggest so, but model results show that only seepage inflow (when Hgw > Hsw) is actually calculated. Is anyone able to confirm? Thanks Steve

Hi bob

do u have a copy of your paper "Dickinson R. E., Burgess E. H., Rossman L.A., and Roesner L.A. 2004. The Modified Euler Solution Algorithm and the Picard Solution Algorithm in SWMM5. 2004 Conference on Stormwater and Urban Water Systems Modeling., Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Feb 19-20, 2004.

I want to look into the current swmm5 solution

Hi Doone! It has been a long while since we've chatted. I wanted to drop by to say hello...hoping that life is treating you and your family well. We are enjoying our time in Naples/Marco Island. Living on the Big Cypress basin has brought plenty of wildlife into our backyard...gators, deer, turtles, bobcats and many birds. Needless to say, the beaches are wonderful (love watching the dolphins at play). We have appreciated the recent rain as it was needed in the Everglades area. Wishing you a happy summer! Will check in again sometime when my wifi connection is strong!

Do you think It would be possibile to create something like this on EpaSwmm?
Let me know, thanks!
